Sderot is a small city that sits on Israel’s southern border, right beside the Gaza Strip. Due to the recent unrest in the Gaza Strip Sderot is now, more than ever, the targeted object of terrorism. Kassam rockets have been and continue to be fired into the heart of this small city and have promoted much fear and devastation.
We, together with others that have partnered with us, now work to help fund a community center where we send monthly support that helps to meet their basic needs. The community center is an arts and drama center that is open to all who desire to participate; it creates a place of fun and imagination in a world where children are constantly overwhelmed with fear. When we asked the people of Sderot what they needed most they replied with one simple answer, “We need hope.” We know that hope is something we can bring them. We are proud to support this project and are honored to have become a vessel of hope!
