The Continuing Need
An eerie stillness permeates streets, shops, and hotels that used to swarm with tourists from all over the globe. People have been forced from their homes by Kassam and Katyusha rockets. Many have lost everything. The economy has been brought to a standstill. The government has been forced to divert resources to the military, and this after years of terrorism has taken a human toll. People scrounge garbage bins and abandoned market stalls for a few morsels of food.
Grief, hunger and hopelessness transcend political boundaries. Never before have the moral imperatives seemed so very clear as Hamas and Hezbollah purposely target civilians and Israel is censored for showing tremendous restraint in the face of hatred and aggression. Israel now needs our help.
Tourism has all but been suspended by the continuing conflicts. Hotels, restaurants, retail shops and other related industries have experienced steep declines in business. To make things worse, political instability has curtailed foreign capital investment.

Donations to Israel Relief Fund
The Israel Relief Fund is determined that the maximum amount of any donation actually reaches the need. No one in our organization receives a salary or stipend of any kind. All of our staff are volunteers. We do not have an office to support, all of our volunteers work from their homes. The only overhead of our organization is our web site maintenance, postage, and our phone bill, and travel expenses as needed. Most of the time this is under $100/m.
