| Exciting Development for Orphans in Jerusalem |
The 2009 year comes to a close with exciting news. A Jerusalem non-profit has recently offered the Love for Israel Relief Fund over 3,000 square feet in a new building that they want to set aside to help orphans and at-risk kids. The space can be ours to use free of charge for up to five years.

Changing lives of at-risk kids includes opportunities for academic excellence. One of the schools we sponsor opens such opportunities. Between the global economic crisis and catering to an impoverished population, this school needs help renovating their old building.

Three containers of clothing are in a New Jersey warehouse. We need to get them to Israel. Cost is $8500 for each container.

Picture a forty foot long international shipping container perched on a semitrailer. The outer walls are bare of identifying markings. There are no signs or placards outside proclaiming the chessed that goes on within. Inside is a clean, well-lighted store; the walls are painted and the floor is carpeted.
